Research in Adult Basic Education and ESOL

While working as an ESOL lecturer in an FE college, I had the opportunity to study for a Cert Ed in Adult Education with an ESOL Specialism. The vital social value of education was fully revealed and the importance of differentiated learning which allows all students to access learning formed a consistent theme in the course. Recognotion of SPLDs and how affected students can be supported was a rich field of research.
